About the author

I am a retired fourth grade teacher. To me, children are priceless treasures, and I loved the time I spent with my students in the classroom. I probably learned as much from them as they learned from me, and for that I am thankful.

I now spend most of my writing time in poetry, and I get my ideas from current events. The best description is “social commentary.” There is so much right with our world that it seems sad to have it covered up by what is wrong. So, I write about it, adding my small voice to hopefully others with similar ideas. I have been away from this site for a while but now intend to get back to regular postings.
